Owner has owned this vessel for many years, Vessel will need some sprucing up for the owner hasn't ben able to use the vessel. Located in San Diego, Ca. Engine is a Perkins Diesel 4108 that has had a complete rebuild. This Cheoy Lee was custom built for the buyer when he ordered it.
ACCOMMODATIONS & LAYOUT:
This yacht was custom built by Cheoy Lee for the owner who is
6'2" tall and his wife who is 5'10". Three of his children are 6'2" or 6"3".
They wanted the smallest yacht where the could have full headroom
throughout. This required a rearranging of the interior to accommodate bunks
long enough to fit the family. This beautiful teak varnished interior with
special nylon burgundy colored fabric for upholstery and stripped drapes to
match used throughout, has a v-berth stateroom. Forward locker opposite to
starboard. The salon has a u-shaped dinette to port whose table drops to
form a large spacious bunk suitable for two tall people. Opposite to
starboard is a pull out settee that makes into another bunk with a
permanent pilot berth above. Forward of the pilot berth and settee is an
alcove with a S.S. Cole fireplace stove suitable for charcoal
briquettes, wood or coal. Aft of the pilot berth is a Nav Station, chart
table, and electric panels plus a large hanging locker for foul weather
gear. A wide counter extends across to the port side and forward to the
dinette. On the port side is a stainless steel sink, a top loading
refrigerator and a (propane converted)CNG two burner sliding gimbaled range
with oven. There is unusually excellent storage space throughout entire
cabin including many drawers and cabinets.
GALLEY:
Adler Barour 12v Cold Machine with evaporator freezer. 6 gallon stainless
steel hot water heater, pressure hot and cold water system, also a hand pump
for salt water. Above the sink is a large spice and glass cabinet. As a
custom built yacht, LLOYDS surveyors were employed to oversee each phase of
construction and the yacht carries a LLOYDS +100A yacht rating.
SAILS & RIGGING: Equipped for cruising.
The masts are painted white and has varnished wooden booms. Mast
are stepped on deck in stainless steel. Mast step supported by stainless
steel with Norseman terminals.
Hood Sea furl roller system on head stay for genoa or jibs. The
staysail is fitted with a club boom which can easily be detached so staysail
can set loose footed if desired.
There are a total of 11 Barient chromed winches:
Two #27 self-tailing primaries located by helmsman.
Four #23 self-tailing located on cabin top.
Two #18 2-speed on mast.
One #10 on mast;One #10 on mizzen
One #10 on boom for reefing
Four Barient locking winch handles.
